What do PMHNP jobs pay, and where are they?

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) roles in the US are advertised at roughly $125k – $175k, with entry roles near $125k and senior or supervisory roles near $175k. The scarcest prescriber in behavioral health. Telepsychiatry has absorbed a large share of supply, which makes in-person and hybrid roles harder to fill than the salary alone suggests. Some PMHNP work is remote — telehealth, supervision and documentation — but assessment-heavy roles usually are not.

    Live PMHNP roles

No live PMHNP roles are published right now. Most of our PMHNP searches are filled before they reach a job board — join the talent network and we will come to you.

Are there PMHNP jobs near me?

Start with your state page: it carries the licensure position, the local market read and every live role we hold there. If nothing is open, that is usually timing rather than absence — PMHNP searches move quickly and most never reach a board.

    PMHNP questions we get asked

Does state practice authority change the job?
Yes. Full-practice-authority states let PMHNPs work independently; reduced and restricted states require a collaborating physician agreement, which affects autonomy, caseload and sometimes pay.

We qualify every PMHNP role before it reaches you

Panel size, no-show policy, collaborating physician arrangements and call expectations decide PMHNP offers. State practice authority matters as much as pay.
